We’ve trained and licensed drivers employed in a variety of careers within the transportation industries. Freeway Truck & Forklift Training Academy Inc. is a Registered Ontario Career College under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Vocational Programs
This program requires approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005
Class A
The class A driver’s license Allows an individual to operate a motor vehicle with towed vehicles that exceed total gross weight of 4600 KG’s.
A driver holding class A License can also operate any vehicle that requires class D or G Licenses. A class A licence holder can not operate a passenger bus, a motorcycle or a moped.

Non-Vocational Programs

Class B
Allowed to drive any school purposes bus. Can drive in class C, D, E, F and G.

Class C
Allowed to drive any regular bus. Can drive vehicles in class D, F and G.

Class D
A motor vehicle exceeding 11,000 kilograms gross weight or registered gross weight or any truck or combination provided the towed vehicle is not over 4,600 kilograms. Can drive in class G.

Class E
Allowed to drive any school purposes bus – maximum of 24-passenger capacity. Can drive in class F and G.

Class F
Allowed to drive any regular bus – maximum of 24-passenger capacity – and ambulances. Can drive in class G.

Class M
Allowed to drive any motorcycles. Can drive a Class G under the conditions of a Class G1 license holder.

Forklift
Forklift licensing available for Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Order Picker, Walkie, Scissor Lift, Clamp Truck and more.

Training for Backhoe, Excavator, and Front End Loader covering core operating and trade skills.

Air Brake Endorsement
A “Z” air brake endorsement is required on a driver’s license to operate any air brake equipped motor vehicle. Courses available every week.
